Shaun's passion for real estate began during his 10 years within the Calgary construction industry. His extensive knowledge of building systems, structures and communities led to him investing in real estate. An avid sports fan and volunteer, outside of work Shaun can be found at various sporting events either competing himself or coaching and cheering on his children.

Rylan has been a leader in the Canadian mortgage industry for over 15 years, owning and operating his own high producing boutique mortgage brokerage firm for the past decade. Jacalyn Symonds graduated with distinction with an undergraduate degree in Political Science, from the University of Hawaii at Manoa on the island of Oahu before beginning her law school endeavors. Jacalyn was awarded the designation of Phi Beta Kappa in recognition of high attainments in liberal scholarship.

She earned a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Calgary, graduating in 2000. During law school Jacalyn was an active volunteer with Student Legal Assistance and appeared in Provincial Court on behalf of clients who could not normally afford legal representation. During law school she also volunteered and supported the Calgary Mustard Seed.

Upon graduation Jacalyn has appeared many times in the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Court of Queen’s Bench and assisted as an articling student at the Court of Appeal of Alberta. Jacalyn’s primary practice focus is on Residential Real Estate, Condominium Property Law, Civil Litigation in the foreclosure and collections area, and Wills and Estates.

Jacalyn is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Calgary Bar Association and frequents the Condominium Lawyers Luncheons on a regular basis.

Outside of law, Jacalyn enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking and travelling.

Ryan graduated with both his Law Degree, and Master’s in Business Administration from Dalhousie University in 2002 and was called to both the Alberta Bar and the British Colombia Bar in 2003. He went on to article with internationally recognized Canadian Law firm Bennet Jones and following his articling position continued to work at Bennett Jones as Associate Counsel in Commercial Real Estate for the next 7 years. He has since held General Counsel and In-House Counsel titles for REIT’s, and taken his experience across the world as a Sr. Managing Lawyer for an office located in St. Kitts. In 2012 Ryan put his name on the door, and today our office is Robertson LLP.
